Nothing is better than seeing your name on top of the leader board of a handicapping contest. To be able to call yourself the champion for a day. The prize money doesn't hurt either. It just doesn't get much better than that.

Even if you do not win, handicapping contests help you in many ways. They strengthen your handicapping skills by forcing you to search for a horse with value and potential.
